Thai 5 Café is now a Thai Select Restaurant & the first fast food restaurant to receive it too
The Thai Select is a seal of approval from Thailand's Ministry of Commerce that ensures authenticity and quality Thai cuisine around the world. It is based on a vigorous assessment of health and food safety, proportion of Thailand-imported ingredients, dish characteristics, and finally, the Chef's background.
To date, 71 restaurants in Canada have won it. However, Thai 5 Café is the first and (currently) only fast food restaurant to receive this award.
It is a great honour to be a recognized member of the Thai Select program, carving out our very own category. We are now more excited than ever to continue sharing our passion with you all.
